Antique Victorian Silk and Leather Lace up Boots
These unique boots date to the Victorian era. I would say around 1880-90. The top part of the boot is a silk blend fabric with a leaf pattern. The bottom part of the boots are leather with an unusual patina. the soles are in exellent condition (photos upon request, serious buyers only please) and look to have been rarely worn I love the color combination, it is quite striking. They are for display as the tongue on both shoes are missing the leather or the leather is split but not through.
The original John Kelly advertisting card remains with the boots and is included in the purchase price.Laces are in ok shape. Boots are quite narrow measuring 2 3/4' at the widest width and a tad under 1 1/2" at the narrowest width. Ideal for a Victorian collector.
Vintage from the 19th century
