SOLD Handmade Peacock Lampshade Large Floor Lamp

This one was hard to list. My most extensive shade made to date. Amazing antique textiles including silk velvet overlaid with embroidered floral tulle, and fabulous floral metallic lace. Front focal panel is 3 dimensional with an antique ottoman peacock applique dating to the late 1800’s. The shade is hand dyed silk from red to aqua blue so it lights up a room with red hues.

Hand beaded strands made up of czech glass beads in a unique pattern adding to the drama and beauty of the shade. It’s trimmed with fine antique metallic trim. Lots of labor in this one. The floor lamp dates to the 1930’s and had its original paint matching perfectly with the shade. A statement in any room.
 
Peacock lampshade measures 19 1/2” wide, the floor lamp is 74” tall including finial.
