1920's Edwardian Handmade Red Carpet Gown
Ideal for a red carpet event or even a wedding, this gorgeous gown has so many wonderful elements I don't know where to start. The bodice is silk overlaid with 1920's silver metallic silk lace with a floral pattern. Up above the bodice is trimmed with an Edwardian silver metallic lame, beaded with purple seed beads. Below the bodice at the Empire waistline is a cut steel beaded trim that goes around the front and back. The straps are Silver Lame and the sleeves are created with an Edwardian rare AB sequin with various bobbles hanging off on both the front and back. These hang off the shoulder adding to the drama and uniquness of this creation. The skirt is a French Silk devore velvet ombre dyed from a lilac to a deep lavendar. The hem is unfinished so that you can take it to a tailor and have it custom fitted. The centerpiece is a 1920's sequin floral applique that I really thought was new. After close inspection I could tell it was from the era and looks to have never seen light.
This gown is meticulously made. Edwardian style placket back which goes down the back of the skirt. It should be a snug fit so make sure you read the measurements if you are thinking of purchasing this. You won't find anything similar to this. It is beyond stunning.
